How do we get there?

From Toronto Pearson International Airport, your commute is approx. 2 hours North.

Your stay will include one boat transfer to the island upon check in, and one transfer back upon check out. 
There is a small fishing boat included and can be used to make necessary trips back to mainland, if needed.

Will my cell phone work?

All major Canadian cell phone providers get great cell phone reception on the island.

Is there wifi?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Wifi is included with your stay. Please note: The wifi provided is run through a mobile ZTE internet hub. This supports email, day to day web surfing etc. It is not fast enough to support downloads, streaming, and video calls. 
 
If you would like to upgrade the internet usage and speed during your stay, faster speeds which support downloads, streaming and video calls, these are available for an additional fee. 
 
If you would like to upgrade, please mention this in your inquiry and we'll provide upgrade options and pricing.

Is the tap water safe to drink?

Yes - tap water is run through a filtration system, which purifies the water, making it safe to consume. Water bottles are also provided and will be fully stocked prior to check-in.

Is firewood provided?

Yes - there is plenty of wood available for your use, stacked by the main fire pit, just outside the main cabin.
